Adding stock

Link products you already have

Link a product that's already in your Shopify store to its card. Synq keeps the product and takes over its price and stock.

Where to start

In Add products, open Import › Link from Shopify. In the setup, pick Link my products.

Link a product

  1. 1Link from Shopify lists your store's products that aren't linked yet, newest first. Search with Search your store's products, then click one.
  2. 2Which card is it? The search is filled with the product's title. Pick the card.
  3. 3Add to synq. Pick the printing, then give each variant its condition.
  4. 4Click Add to synq.

What Synq fills in for you

  • SKU of 1 to 9 digits: read as a TCGplayer SKU, so the card is found for you.
  • Barcode or SKU of 10 to 14 digits: read as the product's UPC or EAN.
  • Conditions: read from the SKU or the variant's name. Words like "NM-M", "Light Play" and "Excellent" are understood.
  • A card from a game you don't sell: Synq offers Enable for that game.

What happens after you link

  • Nothing changes in Shopify at the moment you link. Title and description stay as they are.
  • Cost is read from Shopify's Cost per item.
  • Price follows the product's price rule from the rule's next run.
  • Stock stays in sync from then on.

Good to know

  • One product at a time. There is no bulk link yet.
  • Check the rule first. Open the rule's preview in Price rules to see the new price before it runs.
  • All linked. When every product is linked, the list says "Everything is in synq".
