Adding stock
Conditions and printings
Each printing of a card is its own Shopify product. Each condition is a variant of that product, with its own price and stock.

How a card becomes a product
- One product per card and printing. A Normal and a Foil copy of the same card are two products.
- One variant per condition. The variants sit under one option called "Condition".
- Stock per condition and location. Each variant tracks its own quantity.
Conditions
Sealed products have one condition, Unopened.
Conditions are the same for every game.
| Code | Condition |
|---|---|
| NM | Near Mint |
| LP | Lightly Played |
| MP | Moderately Played |
| HP | Heavily Played |
| DMG | Damaged |
How condition names show in your store
- 1Open Settings › Online Store › Condition variants.
- 2Under Condition names, pick full names (Near Mint) or abbreviations (NM).
New products only
The choice applies to products you add from then on. Products you already have keep their variant names.
Printings
Printings come from TCGplayer: Normal, Foil, Holofoil, 1st Edition, Reverse Holofoil and more.
Each printing has its own market price, so a Foil is priced on its own.
Good to know
- Pokémon TCG Japan is a separate game. Turn it on in Settings › What you sell.
- Removing a condition deletes that variant in Shopify. Do it in Inventory with the Conditions panel.
- Played conditions with no market price use the rule's percent below Near Mint. See Build a price rule.
