What stays in sync with Shopify
Synq and Shopify share stock, cost and product details. Prices are the one thing your price rules own.

Edits made in Shopify admin
| You change in Shopify | What Synq does |
|---|---|
| Price | Shows it as Listed. The rule's next run replaces it, unless the condition is excluded |
| Stock, from orders or edits | Copies it, at every location |
| Cost per item | Copies it |
| Title, description, type | Keeps your edit |
| Delete a variant | Removes that condition |
| Delete a product | Removes the product from Synq |
| Add, rename or close a location | Follows the change |
Prices
A price you edit in Shopify admin lasts until the next run of the product's rule.
To keep a price, set it in Synq: edit Listed in Inventory. That excludes the condition from rules. See Exceptions.
Locations
Stock is kept per location. When you don't pick one, new stock goes to your primary location.
Good to know
- Edits you made stay when you update products from a template.
- Unlinked products stay in Shopify, and Synq stops updating them.
