Product titles and descriptions
Templates decide how a new product's title, description and search engine text read. Set them per game and per kind of product.
Where to find them
Open Settings › Online Store. Home's Change how cards read button opens the same page.
Templates can differ by game and by kind: Singles, Sealed, Decks and Accessories.
Title and description
The title is {name} by default, the card name only. The description is the card's text.
Add card details to a title from this list:
- Product name
- Set and Set code
- Number
- Rarity
- Printing
- Kind
- Game and Vendor
- Product description
Search engine title and description
Search engine text is off by default. Turn it on to fill it for every new product.
You can also set a theme template, so card products use a page layout from your theme.
Update products you already have
A template applies to new products. To bring existing products in line, click Update products on the same page. It runs in the background.
Products you edited in Shopify keep your edits. Synq tells you how many kept them.
Good to know
- Condition names (Near Mint or NM) are under Condition variants on the same page. See Conditions and printings.
- Title for one card. Change it in the add window before you click Add to store.
