What Synq creates in your store

Each card you add becomes a regular Shopify product. Here's what Synq fills in.

Updated October 20262 min read

The product

  • One product per card and printing, with one variant per condition under a "Condition" option.
  • Title: the card name by default. See Product titles and descriptions.
  • Description: the card's text from TCGplayer.
  • Images: up to 3, from the printing or the card.
  • Vendor: the game's publisher.
  • Product type: the game's name.
  • Category: Gaming Cards for singles and decks, Collectible Trading Cards for sealed.

Stock, price and cost

  • Stock is tracked at the location you pick.
  • Price comes from the rule or exception that prices the card.
  • Cost per item is filled when you enter a cost.

Status, channels and collections

  • Status: Draft or Active. Draft is the default, and you can switch it in the add window.
  • Channels: the ones you tick. Synq manages Online Store, Shop and Point of Sale.
  • Collection: the game's singles or sealed collection.

SKU and barcode

With Shopify POS installed, each condition gets the TCGplayer SKU and a barcode. See Sell in your shop with Shopify POS.

Good to know

  • No tags. Synq doesn't add tags to products.
  • No duplicates. Synq marks each product with its card and printing, so the same printing can't be created twice.
  • Drafts stay hidden. Publish them in Shopify, or use Set as active in Inventory.
