Minimums and rounding

A minimum keeps a card from selling under a price you pick. Rounding gives your prices clean endings.

Set a minimum

In the rule's Define minimum step, pick one:

  • None: no minimum.
  • A fixed amount: in your store's currency.
  • Your cost: what you paid, plus or minus a percent or an amount. Never sold under what you paid.

The same for every condition, or per condition

Pick Same for every condition, or Per condition to set one minimum for each.

Leave a condition empty and it has no minimum.

Rounding

Pick rounding in the rule's Define pricing step:

  • No rounding
  • Round up to x.49
  • Round up to x.99
  • Round up to x.00
  • Round to nearest x.00

Good to know

  • No maximum. Rules have a minimum but no ceiling.
  • No cost, no cost minimum. A product without a cost has no minimum based on cost, and the preview says so. See Cost and margin.
  • Your currency. Minimum and rounding work after the conversion from US dollars.
  • A card's own minimum. When a product has its own minimum, the higher of the two wins. See Exceptions.
  • Zero is never published. A price of 0 or less is never sent to Shopify.
