Prices

How market prices work

Every price in Synq starts from the TCGplayer market price for that card, printing and condition. Your price rules turn it into your price.

Where the price comes from

In Inventory, hover the Market price to see TCGplayer's Market, Low, Mid and High.

  • TCGplayer market price, in US dollars.
  • Per condition. Each condition has its own market price.
  • Fallback. If Near Mint or a sealed product has no price of its own, the printing's market price is used.
  • Updated once a day. That's how often the market moves on TCGplayer.

When your prices change

Your prices change only when a price rule runs. Between runs, nothing changes them.

The "All products" rule from the setup runs every day at 6:00 AM in your store's time zone.

You can also run any rule yourself. See Preview, run and schedule.

Your store's currency

  • Followed for you. Synq uses your Shopify store's currency. There is nothing to pick.
  • Converted from US dollars with current exchange rates.
  • Minimum and rounding work in your currency, after the conversion.

Unsupported currency

If Synq has no exchange rate for your currency, it can't price your cards. Settings shows "Unsupported currency". Tell us with Feedback on Home.

Good to know

  • Prices are US market prices. Where your local market differs, adjust the rule's percent for that game. See Build a price rule.
  • No market price. The rule preview lists these under No market. Set their price yourself with an exception.
  • Synq doesn't update TCGplayer. It only uses its prices.
